about me

me3

I am an experimental quantum physicist trying to answer fundamental questions that are hard to grasp, interesting to investigate and challenging to implement.  In other words, I am having fun in the lab understanding the world a tiny bit better and I hope it will be useful one day…

As of 2019, I started my own research group working on experimental quantum optics at the Laboratory of Photonics of the Tampere University, Tampere, Finland.

If you are also interested in the weird world of quantum physics and you are curious to work on fundamental questions as well as latest quantum technological implementations, please contact me (robertfickler@web.de) for possible collaborations or open positions.
